reVIVE - our lowest impact sleeping bags and mats

Our ReVIVE range features our lowest impact sleeping bags and mats. These products are made to perform at their best whilst reducing the environmental impact of their production.

So lets take a look at what makes the reVIVE range different.

We wanted to create products with more than just a 'recycled' tag: our aim was to build sleeping bags and mats that were worthy of the Sea to Summit name. 

All of our experience in Design, Materials and Sourcing culminated in three models that offer performance, comfort and versatility at an affordable price constructed with true sustainability in mind.

SOLUTION DYEING

These new sleeping mats are coloured with a process called Solution Dyeing. this is a process where dye is added to the liquid polymer before the fibre is extruded.

The resultant fabrics will not fade over time in the same way conventional fabrics will. The real upside is a massive reduction in water and chemical use and in secondary emissions) such as CO₂ during manufacture.

BLUESIGN CERTIFIED

The reVIVE range are all bluesign Certified - bluesign is a system run by an independent, Swiss-based third-party group that monitors every step in a supply chain to ensure the use of the most benign materials, production creating the fewest emissions and pollution, humane conditions for workers and material safety standards for consumers.

RCS-CERTIFIED

reVIVE products – and other Sea to Summit equipment – utilise recycled materials that are RCS-certified. The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is an international, voluntary standard that uses the ISO definition for recycled, sets criteria for third-party certification of recycled input and ensures a chain of custody throughout the supply chain.

REVIVE LOFT

reVIVE loft is a multi-denier synthetic insulation used in reVIVE sleeping bags.

reVIVE Loft is made of 100% RCS-certified post-consumer recycled polyester and is bluesign APPROVED. The insulation is a key part of offering approachably-priced, technical sleep products with a strong sustainability story.
